Pros

I was an employee of AMEC Foster Wheeler BlackCat in Qatar. It was the best experience in my employment history. Provides a lot of opportunities for the employees career growth.

Cons

Nothing to mention at all.

Pros

Flexible work schedule, Good opportunities to move up if you put in the work. Project bonus structure is nice. Pay scale is good, not top but not bottom. If you want to expand your knowledge and take on more responsibility you can. The sky is the limit here, but you have to search for these opportunities. Like most promotions they don't get handed to you. Nice steady backlog of work in parts of the company.

Cons

very segmented business structure. It tough to work with and do business with other parts of the company. No ERP or common systems or processes. You basically have to re-invent the wheel every project. Company is large so sometimes it's tough to know what other parts of the company does. Various departments in the company are backwards and don't add value to project teams.
