People here are very welcoming and professional. The employees have varying levels of experience and come from a variety of backgrounds. There are some very cool projects being worked on, across multiple teams, and there are a lot of opportunities to experience various technologies. The Portland office has an open floor plan, and is very well kept. Social activities and team building are encouraged in the office - there is a lively atmosphere! Work/life balance is highly manageable and is well supported by HR/Management. Customer engagement is high, product teams are very involved and accessible from within the teams. There are a lot of opportunities to make an impact in the various processes surrounding software development, implementing new technologies or otherwise. AltSource is very keen on improving how they operate, manage projects and interact with their customers - which aligns with how I choose to operate. Process improvements don't happen over night - this is a huge opportunity to be part of the solution. If you are ambitious and want to take the bull by the horns, this is the place to be. I appreciated the honesty that management gave me prior to working here, and due to the fairly flat organizational structure things are very transparent.

AltSource is a great place to work. The company is growing and the future looks bright. I've been here a few months and I honestly enjoy going to work every day for many reasons: • friendly, talented people • welcoming environment • good benefits • nice office space • terrific location Most people probably care about the list above, but then there are a bunch of other perks that I personally love but may not matter to you: • bike room • showers • music in the bathrooms • sit stand desks • big windows, lots of natural light • the kitchen is stocked with solid food and drink options I'm very happy here. I don't have any major complaints.
