Pros

Great people trying to achieve great things. Our service users benefit from the work we do and we have satisfaction from this.

Cons

More work than achievable and an underperforming, yet overstaffed HR department who are unwilling to help or support. I often get a better response from Google. Senior managers have an ‘us’ and ‘them’ approach, like in CEO updates which always start with from the senior management team and end in the same manner.

Thank you for the review and point of view regarding Julian House and how we operate. We would encourage you to have a further conversation to discuss your experience. As an organisation, we are constantly trying to find ways to listen to our people's feedback, and will continue to do so. Our CEO as well as the HR department are there to support(and listen to) all employees and managers across the organisation.. HR are often supporting to facilitate different discussions/team sessions - so that we can continue getting feedback and work with people to resolve issues, so please come forward to discuss your experience so we can improve it.

Cons

Under the market salaries Stressful case/workloads Suggestions for improvement/change unwelcomed Management constantly delegate their responsibilities - no compensation or recognition There's training for progression into management but you won't get given any such opportunity CEO/senior management uncaring when operations are threatened with aggression and violence People we support are left in squalor
