Pros

- Company culture places a high emphasis on employee satisfaction, work-life balance, rarely saying no, and constructive training rather than criticism. - The entire company is fully work from home without exception. You will never have to worry about "returning to the office" because there is literally no office to return to! - Speaking from personal experience, I have never felt micromanaged to any degree. Employees are trusted to do their work at their own pace. Any escalation requests come in the form of polite, honest requests.

Cons

- This can be said of any enterprise level software company, but when platform upgrades break significant functionality, it takes a relatively long time to restore services. This naturally leads to higher ticket volumes and louder customer complaints. (Typical server downtimes are almost always quickly recovered from, at least.) - Career Opportunities are quite restrictive due to the nature of the business. Technical opportunities like Support and Implementation are obviously present, but aside from that, it's nearly all sales and marketing-related.

Pros

Fully remote with genuine flexibility. Smart, mission-driven colleagues who care about the product and customers. Modern stack exposure (AWS, Terraform, CI/CD, Linux, Datadog) and chances to own meaningful infrastructure work. Interesting challenges around cost-optimization, observability, and security/compliance — plenty of “real” problems to solve.

Cons

Management culture slows execution; ownership and decision rights are often unclear. Priorities and roles can shift mid-stream, which creates rework and churn. Standards for Terraform/CI/CD and alerting are improving but remain inconsistent across teams. Signal-to-noise in notifications/monitoring can lead to alert fatigue and lost focus.

Pros

When I joined I was told by a few former colleagues of other jobs "Agiloft is the best kept secret in CLM". They were right. Not only is the product a leader in the space, the people leading this organization are forthright, honest individuals. You can trust them to lead you well. As-you-need-it time off. Summer fridays off Meeting free Fridays so you can get some heads down time Great slack culture for a remote company. Actually hitting quarterly goals and growing instead of missing targets and reducing headcount to accommodate (looking at you rest of the CLM market....)

Cons

Agiloft should be 10% more aggressive about how good we are to our customers in our outbound messaging. HAving worked at other providers in the space, I can say with certainty that Agiloft takes the best care of customers of any of the current players.

Pros

- Remote First Company - Great culture, yearly on-site events, Employee Resource Groups, Internet & Training Stipend - Great Managers and teams - Hiring slowely and conservatively - no major layoffs or hire & fire

Cons

- Product Team is lagging AI trends & outdated code base - Product Team's KPI's should measure customer adoption and training efforts - Customer Success Teams could develop customers better - Some departments in the company are performing well (Sales/Marketing/Professional Services), while others are lagging

Great remote first company

Pros

Agiloft is a true remote first company and a leader in the legal tech / CLM space. The culture is very open and collaborative, with weekly all-hands meetings to keep everyone updated and also non work related watercooler channels and employee resources groups. Managers are very supportive even when things dont go so well. Great work/life balance, support and flexibility. Amazing product, very robust and highly configurable (but also very complex).

Cons

Too many licensing and product changes too frequent; which are confusing for staff and customers. No VPN available which is quite risky considering we all work remotely. Only once a year in person meetings.

Toxic culture

Pros

It's a remote company but even then, they tend to hire in several locations, which means local networking happens in those locations, which means career advancement opportunities are only given to those employees. If you live somewhere outside those key places, best of luck.

Cons

Despite how much Agiloft loves to talk about EX=CX, they don't actually care about their employees at all. This place was a sweatshop, and while I was there many talented employees left because of that. You will have unlimited PTO, but no time to actually use it because of executive leadership's demands, which will work you to the bone. Despite being a software company, Engineering is treated like a cost center, and there is not even a minimum baseline of quality. The product has suffered greatly as a result, and customers are frequently frustrated. The product itself has no real differentiators compared to competitors. Leadership's - and the board's - approach is to just "keep up with the Joneses", they had no real strategy whatsoever. They are simply hoping that ARR will increase modestly enough that they can sell it to the next clueless buyer before competitors eat their lunch. I have no idea where all the positive reviews are coming from, maybe they were from former employees who left before things went downhill.
