Pros

Free snacks. Lunch with CEO on yearly work anniversaries and birthdays.

Cons

Lack of communication between departments and within departments. Lack of communication from some management. Most of management are uneducated about the department they are over or just show lack of interest in learning. Overworked disgruntled employees. No raises, little to no bonuses and not so great benefits. There are people handling medications that should probably be certified. There are also people on the phones speaking with patients about medications that are not certified. This place is unorganized. HR is very relaxed about incidents. Management shows lack of value for their employees at times. There is obvious favoritism when it comes to promotions like husbands and wives, friends, etc. Lack of trying to implement any of the great ideas that employees are asked to suggest. The IT department is understaffed, overworked and systems are extremely outdated and goes down on a daily basis.

Not What It Seems

Pros

Casual attire and atmosphere. Open door policy.

Cons

All informal processes. No accountability from anyone, especially the leadership. Executive leadership is completely disconnected and disengaged with middle leadership and staff. Favoritism and subjectivity are blatant and unapologetic. This company hails itself as fast paced and growing, but in truth it is antiquated and hidebound in its decision-making and light-years behind the times in IT and innovation. It promotes a great image, but NEVER delivers anything close to what it promises nor does it ever have intentions on doing so. PPA is the classic wolf in sheep's clothing. They talk the talk but cannot walk the walk. They make promises to their clients that they cannot deliver and leave the backlash and failures on the backs of the middle leaderships and entry staff after having micro-managed a program into the ground. In the end, the patients are the ones getting taken advantage.
