Pros

Good technology with real promise Good technical team but somewhat suppressed

Cons

If you are thinking of working here you should expect zero enterprise awareness and no efforts to align corporate expectations with any sort of reality in the market. There is no product marketing at Accel. Of particular concern is extremely negative and defensive senior management who often berate, yell, curse, and accuse employees of stupidity openly. Business development and marketing/sales business plan simply do not match expectations. CEO is often combative with employees and even clients. Just a poorly run company with a nice patent.

Pros

The proprietor of an awesome product, one that is not readily available from other vendors.

Cons

Very hostile environment to work in and recognition are only given to those who are family members of board members or the President of the company. The company will sacrifice a valuable team member to make a sale while simultaneously setting unrealistic expectations with customers beforehand. The only way to be successful in this company is to kiss a lot of tail and keep quite. Employment with this company will have an adverse action to your health; seriously.

Pros

Conceptually sound business premise in LTE WAN connectivity

Cons

Destined to fail as a company; financially insolvent with no hope of recovery. CEO has the biggest, most destructive ego ever. VP level is staffed with yes-men and -women who completely bend to the CEO's will. CEO is verbally abusive and intentionally creates a hostile work environment; President is ineffectual at best verbally abusive herself at worst. Recent acquisition by Sierra networks will not change the situation - look for Sierra to absorb whatever beneficial functions they can incorporate into their own business and scrap the majority of the company.
