Pros
Interesting sectors, and the organisation is small enough to allow for a lot of networking opportunities. Good opportunities to develop skills. Formal training is taken seriously. Except for the top management, most employees tend to be young and dynamic, and the atmosphere is co-operative. The location is quite convenient, and the view from the 17th floor meeting rooms is a nice perk. Spacious offices, good working conditions.
Cons
Promotions are very often based on traditional French form of "meritocracy", which is actually a wrong form of elitism, more effective at protecting the acquired rents of a co-opted caste than at promoting new talent and new ideas. Long working hours. The top management maintains an old-school, very formal style, inconsistent with the work habits of the staff. Focus on the development of hard skills, but soft skills are neglected.
