It's hard to be lectured on quant by a non-engineer businessman. Compensation depends on if you are a sycophant.

Pros

A little above average salary and it is still a sort of startup. You will be burdened with a lot of work so chances are if you survived the work pressure you might get to learn how to survive the extreme working conditions.

Cons

The owners of this company have lalaji type mentality, and believe the employees are their slaves to own. Join this company at your own risk.

Fake assurance by the founder

There aren't many. One of them being that you get full freedom to execute the work you are doing within the specified amount of time

Cons

the company has a delayed bonus payout. And the delay is usually over 6 to 9 months the company says that this is to protect the company's interests in case the employee joins a competing firm. The founder gives fake assurances to gullible freshers joining the company, that their balance bonuses would be paid out in case they prove that they are joining a non-competing firm. However, no one till date has been ever paid out their bonuses irrespective of what company they join.
