Thank you for your feedback. As you know, Glassdoor is very serious about its policy on fake reviews, and so are we. We are sorry you feel this way, but please rest assured that we keep it real. With over 200 employees around the world, all having their own distinct personalities, it is only normal that not everyone will feel the same about their life and work. We value our people and know that they are our most valuable asset. They are our best brand ambassadors after all. Even though we do try our best to keep everyone happy, there is always room for improvement, as we are a live organization that dynamically grows day by day. We grow together with our people. We will be to hear more from you, please feel free to contact us at hr@amdtelecom.net

The worst company I have ever worked with. Every 5-star review is FAKE

Pros

If you survive AMD Telecom, you are capable of ANYTHING! The majority of former employees have scored high-paying jobs on amazing companies.

Cons

Company culture & Human resources management: - Inappropriate sexist and racist comments coming from the HR department, especially from the manager (woman) and the director(man). The only way your complaint is going through is through legal actions. - The HR was threatening pregnant women - Less than 5% of employees with a managerial position are women Work-life balance & every day at work: Working at AMD telecom means that each employee is obliged to offer their services 24/7 to two other platforms (routee, waymore), a beach bar, some hotels, a yacht, a horse stable, a pre-election campaign, and so on and so forth, without extra compensation and of course with the same strict KPIs. Last but not least, the CEO will send you tasks at 2 am (working hours were 9 to 5.30 pm) Salaries, promotions & Professional development: -There is no such thing as professional development, but you may get promotions without a raise. Salary payments were never on time (expect to get paid for the month between the 15th and 20th day of next month) COVID: -Management has no regard for human lives. During COVID the management wasn't respecting the employees' health and well-being. This means no ventilation, no masks, no distances and no disinfection of the working space. Employee turnover: -I've stayed with this company for almost 2 years, I've seen people resign on the first day, the first week, and by the time I resigned, I was a veteran! None on my floor has stayed longer than me! On LinkedIn you'll see that the average tenure is 1.4 years, I have to say that it's far less. Customer relationships & business overall: The company handles customers in a non-ethical way. At first, you can look away and act as this is not your problem, but if you want to work for a company you are proud of, this is not the place. I've heard or obliged to tell so many lies during my tenure that made me feel very uncomfortable. Also, all 5-star reviews are fake. Isn't it suspicious that there are bulk 5-star reviews on the same dates? The management threatened the employees to leave 5-star reviews - when this didn't work, he asked the HR coordinator to create 100 5-star reviews on the same day. Premises and Equipment: -Apart from Greece's and Bulgaria's departments, every other place the company claims to have premises, it's just a mailbox - don't fall for that. Thessaloniki's offices are so far from the city centre that it's not even Thessaloniki. There is no bus and the company won't assist you with your commute in any way. Athens offices are in the centre, but we are talking about an open space (room) with 4 desks. -Equipment is absolutely the worst possible. I had to bring my own personal equipment and buy my own licences to do my job.

Thank you for your feedback. We take into serious consideration all reviews, positive and negative. We encourage all feedback from current and former employees, as it helps us uphold and grow a friendly culture that breeds mutual and equal respect to all our people. Likewise, we are one of the leading companies in telecommunications worldwide, a very competitive and fast-paced industry.By no means do we force our people to change who they are or say wrongful things. We do have a high sense of business ethics. This is one of the reasons that we have become a trusted partner for some of the most renowned Fortune 500 companies, such as Microsoft, Google, Rakuten Viber, and Uber. Our wide range of telecommunication solutions is fully configurable to any of our customers' needs. We do take pride in our solutions and services as we have helped many companies to optimize their business performance ever since our very first year of operation, back in 2000. We do provide extensive training during the onboarding process and full support throughout the job, we do expect high performance from all our people. It's a challenging industry and not everyone is ready for it. From our part, we make sure our people get the appropriate training and support to thrive. Thankfully, all our people are mainly professionals who share our vision and wish to advance their careers with us. As we are in constant growth, we strive to provide the best working conditions for all our employees. Sometimes this can be overwhelming, but we have come a long way. We always follow the market standards and keep compensations directly related to skills and performance. We have sales offices in 19 countries worldwide, supporting over 1200 Mobile Network Operators in more than 200 countries. Despite the Covid-19 pandemic that did slow down a lot of industries, we have managed to maintain our business growth. In fact, our short-term plans include the expansion to 35 more countries. Regarding the commute, indeed some of our locations -such as the Liti office in the Thessaloniki district- are not close to the capital cities. But you can understand that with over 210 employees worldwide, it would be impossible to have office locations that could accommodate everyone, right? We would love that as well! However, we are a remote-first company, so all our employees have the option to work from the comfort of their own home :) Furthermore, day by day we become better in all aspects of our operations. In fact, we were recently certified with ISO 27001 and ISO 9001. Achieving this is the result of a huge amount of effort and involvement from every member of our company. Lastly, as an equal opportunity employer, we do not discriminate in hiring or terms and conditions of employment because of an individual's race, ancestry, color, place of origin, religion, gender, gender identity, national origin, citizenship, age, disability, sexual orientation, family status or marital status, or any other protected category recognized by provincial or federal laws. More or less, 45% of the managerial positions are women in our company. We are committed to valuing and respecting all our employees. So, please feel free to email us to hr@amdtelecom.net if you wish to elaborate further.

Pros

Most colleges are really nice people Usually pays on time Interesting industry

Cons

No leadership, no HR, no management, the place where common sense is lost. During a period in Greece where is difficult to find a job, people just quit their positions in AMD .. far better being unemployed than working there!! If you have an alternative don't even think about working there. If not then then I sorry for you. Long hours is a prerequisite ( not paid of course) Basic salary No vision No strategy No logic

Thank you for your feedback. Kindly note that we started 20 years ago as a small business and in the past 20 years, we have evolved from a simple SMS Hub to a leading global communications' provider. With 19 offices worldwide, over 210 employees, connections in more than 1.200 Mobile Network Operators in more than 200 countries, we serve top-notch global companies like Microsoft and Uber. We have come a long way since 2000, and we keep moving forward. We couldn't have done this without a solid vision, efficient management, and the support from our people. Our team management is always available to appropriately direct and support every team member. We do keep an open-door culture and always support every employee throughout their role.
