Pros

None what so ever. At a push, the receptionist is quite hot.

Cons

Where do I start. The recruitment process for this so called charity is an embarrasment. Firstly you are asked to attend a group interview in which 2 hours are wasted on talking absolute nonesense with no relevance to the job. You then are asked to attend a 2nd group interview where anywhere between 20-25 people are sat in the same room. Again they repeat the same pointless tasks that have no relevance to how good you are selling over the phone. Not at any point are you told how many positions are available and again they waste 2 hours of your tine doing this. It turns out in the end only 4 positions were available. Most of the people that attended this grpup interview were over qualified to begin with. It took 3 managers to assess the group and the whole time they tried to make out they were some kind of prestegious company that people would love to work for. They tried to emphasise that they do great work for charity, it's all for a good cause and blah blah blah, yet everyone of them gets paid a decent wage and not at any point did they mention that the company was a non-profit organisation. Not exactly charitable is it? The lies and nonesense that comes from these managers is an embarrasment and it goes to show that the only people that stay in this job longer than 6 months are the managers. Clearly they enjoy earning an easy dishonest wage and lack ambition to do anything else with there lives. I feel sorry for them and the good people they con out of money to pay there wages. Disgrace

Pros

proximity to central train station

Cons

I worked in administration for this company, and just want to make it known that the positive reviews here are fake. Mel (company owner) directly ordered me to write up positive 5 star reviews on here to counteract all of the negative ones, and rolled her eyes when I questioned this. She will make your life miserable if you're not in her clique, which I no longer was at that point, so I left. After years of employment with the company, I didn't get so much as a goodbye from management. I often heard upper management mocking and deriding the charities that engage their services. Making fun of a non-profit client who has just signed off on a 6 figure contract is not a good look, I'm afraid, and it doesn't go unnoticed. The call centre workers are routinely underpaid, and intimidated by management if they bring this up or complain about their awful treatment. I wouldn't recommend this job to anyone. Honestly, a job in fast food would be more morally upstanding.

Pros

Working with people from all around the world (referring to non-management).

Cons

Management is terrible, unqualified and ignorant. The company activities can be broadly split into 4 parts: fundraisers that travel, call centre, administration and management. I worked part of the administration team where I would be criticised on a regular basis for non-work performances related matters such as: the clothing I wore was considered too 'casual' that day (dress code is casual there) or something like the managers have been feeling annoyed that they were not greeted appropriately. They watch you like a hawk, we had to send an email out to let everyone know when you went to lunch so that they had a time stamp to make sure you come back within the 1hr lunch break. They like to give regular warnings and fire people on the spot. A lot of the times, someone you were working with would be gone the next day with no explanations. They could do that as most people were hired on a casual contract. It is the most backwards place to work at. My job was data entry which is meant to be straight forward and easy but with the amount of politics you have to deal with it was not worth the headaches at all. What they do is unethical. The call centre uses very well written scripts and on a regular rotational basis call up existing donators regularly to chase up and asking them to donate more while it is great for the charities, 2evolve takes a large cut out of it. It has a very fake atmosphere. The targets are very strict all in the name of 'helping charities' and you would regular hear people crying in the toilets.
