Our CEO, Dr. Roman Kalista, was shocked to see the drastically reduced quality of life experienced by patients with uncontrolled type 2 diabetes and hypertension during his Nephrology rotation in Oklahoma City. That experience inspired him to develop a system to prevent and alleviate these conditions by combining traditional dietary interventions and the latest learnings from behavioral science. The result was the RxDiet app.
