At RPS, teamwork isn't just a phrase – it's a way of life. Our Occupational Health Technicians exemplify this every day, demonstrating the power of collaboration and support. Recently, when faced with an unexpected challenge, our technicians didn't skip a beat. They rallied together, asking, "What can I do to help?" A team's channel was swiftly created, fostering a supportive environment, where queries were met with helpful advice from peers. But it wasn't just about work matters. Recognising the importance of mental health and wellbeing, one of our mental health first aiders stepped in with advice on stress management, ensuring the team knew support was always available. In a role that can often feel isolated, the team found connection through their shared experiences. The team's channel became a hub for sharing photos from their client visits, sparking conversations, and creating a sense of unity in their day-to-day. We couldn't be prouder of how they banded together during a challenging time. Their dedication hasn’t gone unnoticed. When it comes to protecting and preserving the environment, the RPS team chooses to go the extra mile. Eight volunteers from the RPS Team at the Albourne Office joined conservationists and staff from the Ouse and Adur River Trust to help restore River Ouse. From clearing weeds, to building stick bundles, the team worked effortlessly to ensure biodiversity is thriving for wild animals. “Working together on the project was a unique experience.” Says Hannah Osborne, who organised the volunteers from RPS. “The day enabled us not only to enjoy our local natural surroundings, meet and work with new people, and become more educated in sustainable habitat conservation methods, but it invested us in a larger long-term positive future for a local habitat.” continues Hannah. “It was truly a very rewarding afternoon.” Through social value events such as this, the RPS Team aim to utilise future opportunities to give back to the communities we serve and take sustainability initiatives and fighting climate change to the next step, even if it means getting their hands dirty.
