      Description RARE Hospitality can satisfy that meat-and-potatoes kind of guy (or gal). The company operates more than 315 casual-dining restaurants that specialize in steak and beef dishes. Its flagship LongHorn Steakhouse chain offers a menu featuring steak, seafood, and chicken dishes served in a casual setting with a Western decor. It has more than 285 LongHorn Steakhouses in 25 states as well as four franchised units in Puerto Rico. RARE Hospitality also operates almost 30 upscale dining establishments under the Capital Grille banner; the smaller chain has locations in 18 states and Washington, DC. The company was acquired in 2007 by casual dining leader Darden Restaurants.
