No glass houses here. The Epwin Group is a UK manufacturer of windows, doors, roofing, and cladding products made out of PVC-U (polyvinyl chloride unplasticized) and PVC-UE (polyvinylchloride unplasticized expanded) products. Through subsidiary SBP Limited, the company operates 30 businesses with their own management and sales teams. Epwin products run the gamut from the top (roofline and gutters) to the sides (doors and windows), to entire buildings. The group serves do-it-yourself stores, window, door, and conservatory fabricators and installers; the public sector; and the new housing market. Founded in 1976 by chairman Jim Rawson, the group merged with building products company Latium in 2012.
