Design Science has plans for the mathematically-inclined. Founded in 1986, Design Science develops software that educators, scientists, and publishing professionals use to add mathematical notations and capabilities to publications and educational tools. The company's software offerings include MathType, an interactive editing application that enables mathematical notation in word processing programs, Web pages, desktop publishing, and presentations; MathFlow, a suite of production tools for publishing professionals; and MathPlayer, a Web display engine for math programs.
