Beghelli is big on making the world a brighter, safer place. The company manufactures and markets emergency lighting systems (more than 60% of sales) for industrial plants and home use. Beghelli also makes an array of electronic security systems, personal alarms, home automation mechanisms, and energy saving lighting. Other products include computer lamps designed to reduce eye fatigue, air purifiers, gas detectors, portable lamps, recessed lighting, and video accessories. High profile customers are the Vatican Museum, the Moscow Conservatory, McDonalds' chain, the Siviglia's Expo, and several US universities. Started in 1982 by Gian Pietro Beghelli, Beghelli continues to be controlled by the founder's family.
