Your impact
We are seeking an Intermediate Civil Engineer to join our team and support life science projects in Ireland. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and execution of civil engineering solutions for pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and advanced manufacturing facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-value, cutting-edge projects within the life sciences sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with senior civil engineers to draft and develop detailed designs, including road layouts, drainage systems, SuDS systems, and underground utilities.
Utilize design tools to create 3D models of proposed works, integrating them into comprehensive project models.
Provide technical support during construction phases, including responding to RFIs and liaising with onsite teams.
Contribute to the preparation of contract documents, technical reviews, and approvals during construction phases.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards in all designs and documentation.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including structural, environmental, and mechanical engineers, to ensure seamless project delivery.
Support project management activities, including risk assessments, stakeholder engagement, and progress reporting.
Here's what you'll need
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
3-7 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably within the life sciences or advanced manufacturing sectors.
Strong understanding of drainage design, road layouts, and underground utilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Membership or eligibility for membership with Engineers Ireland (MIEI or CEng preferred).
Preferred Experience:
Experience with industrial or biopharmaceutical manufacturing facilities preferred
Knowledge of SuDS systems and sustainable drainage practices.
