At Pure Life Foods Limited, We are seeking a dependable and physically fit Warehouse Assistant to support the daily logistics and inventory functions of our grocery wholesale operation. This role is essential to the smooth movement and storage of stock within the warehouse. The position involves manual handling, stock control, and dispatch operations in a fast-paced and safety-focused environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive and verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery dockets

• Accurately pick, pack, and label goods for wholesale dispatch

• Load and unload delivery vehicles, including heavy lifting (up to 25kg)

• Perform stock rotation (FIFO) and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records

• Operate manual handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks; forklift if licensed)

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of warehouse storage areas

• Assist with regular stocktakes and inventory audits

• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, including proper PPE use

• Support warehouse supervisors and logistics team in general duties

Skills and Requirements:

• Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory control role (preferred but not mandatory)

• Physically fit and capable of manual handling and repetitive lifting tasks

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

• Basic knowledge of stock/inventory systems or willingness to learn

• Ability to work under pressure and meet dispatch deadlines

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

• Availability for early morning, weekend, and public holiday shifts (as per roster)

• Valid forklift licence (advantageous, not mandatory)

• Commitment to health, safety, and hygiene protocols
