The interview felt quite unstructured and left the impression that the hiring manager was still developing their approach to hiring and leading product managers.
After the call, it was difficult to understand what level of product expertise the company was actually looking for. In many parts, the role sounded like a Product Manager title, but the actual responsibilities seemed closer to Product Delivery.
Overall, the conversation could have benefited from clearer role definition, stronger interview structure, and better alignment on what success in the position should look like.
