I applied for the internship, then I was sent a list of timings to choose from on google calendar. The invitation included instructions on how to join the call. I chose a timing but the interviewer said it was not suitable for them so I changed it and we agreed on the timing. When the time came for the interview, we were both on time and the call started normally. The interviewer started by saying very generic stuff like we're looking for software engineering intern and stuff then after on minute stopped and asked: What are you planning to do after the internship. I said that I only finished quarter of my masters and I need to go back to my studies after I finish the internship. The response was okay so we don't have to continue this interview in order not to waste our or your time because we're only looking for interns who are ready to start working full-time after the internship (of course only in case they think they're fit). I didn't waste my or their time and ended the conversation. The interview lasted somewhere between 2 and 3 minutes.
They may think they didn't waste my time but they actually did. I read the internship description which didn't include anything about being ready to give up everything in a blink when (and a big if) they offer me a full time position. I took the time to open their app and see what they actually do. I went through the application form. And finally I left my office to go to a place where I could talk to the interviewer.
I believe this was a total joke of an interview and waste of my time.
Note: I may refer to it a lot as an interview, but I think it was supposed to be a "get to know you" call.
