Recruiting company (under same exec team) contacted me on position. Did a phone interview with Lead Architect; few red flags went up regarding culture/project. Voiced concerns with recruiter but was talked into doing an on-site. Great guys, but was told to expect night and weekend work. Developers were working out of a conference room, with all four piled up on the table and having to hot-swap workstations between one another (not even in a cube with their own workstation). Was also told about team doing a 36-hour shift to meet project deadline. Spoke to recruiter again who said they liked me and wanted to make an offer, but I again voiced my concerns it was a pressure cooker. He said he was going to get the VP of Dev and Lead Arch. to call me the next morning and talk about my concerns of a work/life balance. Next morning 10 min before call, recruiter calls back and says they spoke to CIO and decided to not go ahead with an offer since it didn't appear I would be a good fit.
