I applied online. I interviewed at lululemon (Toronto, ON) in Nov 2017
Interview
I applied online for the key leader position and received an email saying that I was invited for a group interview for the key leader position. When I went there 'people manager/key leader' conducting the interview told me that the process was to hire a seasonal educator role. Even though I was discouraged, I did my best and did well during the interview. I got a call same day and asked to do another interview with the assistant store manager and told to bring my immigration papers, passport and SIN number for the background check. I found this strange but presented my documents to the manager. Had a great interview. A few days later I received a call from the key leader who interviewed me saying that they realized there is no space for a seasonal educator now. Either that store is very badly managed and nobody knows what they are doing or they discriminate. I just hope it is the first option..
The process is very direct and open. They want to know about your goals and look for people who will take initiative and are people driven. Overall a great experience.
Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad to hear the process felt open and direct—creating meaningful connections and understanding each candidate’s goals is important to us. We appreciate your thoughtful feedback and are happy to know it was a positive experience overall.

Casual Interview in an informal setting. More to get to know you more on a personal level and see your fit for the role. Interview was light hearted and non-stressful.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time where you faced a difficulty in your current role and how did you overcome it?
Set questions and behavioral based. You don’t need direct experience either. They look for positive attitudes and good leaders. You’ll be fine if you speak professionally and positively. There are usually several rounds of interviews
