I applied through other source. I interviewed at interface AI in Oct 2024
Interview
I was reached out by an email and I took the call. I talked about some projects and work experience and then got ghosted. Feels like the least they could do is send an email.
The interview process seems good - initial interviews are taken by third party like karat. First round was about the Low level Design/ High level Design . Once done, i got the reply on the very same day that i have made to the next round, which would be a coding and problem solving interview.

1) General cultural fitment questions like what challenges have you faced technically and asked to write the code for storing all the images from a website in local.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at interface AI (New Delhi) in Feb 2024
Interview
Round 1 involved a medium-level problem solvable via the sliding window technique.
Round 2 covered a basic design question, code review, and another medium-level DSA problem.
Round 3 focused on cultural fit.
After completing all rounds, I was initially told I had cleared the interviews and would receive an offer shortly. However, I was later informed of a change in hiring strategy and pace due to financial concerns, indicating a disregard for candidates' time and poor leadership.
standard coding, designing, and talk to CEO.Everyone is nice but it was absolutely disgusting to talk to the CEO. I felt like throwing up my lunch after talking to him. He also literally told me to expect to work AT LEAST 10 hours a day. The company obviously has a very toxic culture and their product has no future. With the fast development of large language models, companies like interface, who specializes in a small financial domain of chatbot, and doesn’t even offer voice or analytics, will bite the dust very soon. Just take a look at their clients, all small credit unions who are not able to pay much. Interface will never make money. If you have read this far, I’d suggest you value your time and energy, run as fast as possible, as far as you could from them.
