I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at iCIMS in Jul 2015
Interview
For a company who sells HR software, these people need to get it together in their own hiring process. The recruiter went into a sales pitch about starting at the bottom and working your way up, which to me translates to low starting salary. I asked specific questions regarding job responsibilities and was told that due to the tremendous new growth in the company, everyone carried a sales quota, which was a little alarming as the first response to my question. I gave the person my current job description, and told him, based on my level of experience I would not be interested in an entry level salary. He told me he would be calling back with information about an on-site interview, but I never got a call back.

I applied online. I interviewed at iCIMS in Dec 2020
Interview
I completed a phone screen that ensured I was a fit for the position for both experience and expected salary range. Then had a panel interview with potential supervisors. It was a pretty average interview. The managers I interviewed with were very friendly and the interview was more of a conversation and felt less like a traditional interview which helped me put my best foot forward I think.
Also once I worked with a great recruiter after my initial interview who kept in contact and walked me through the longer than normal turn around on next steps
