I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at iCIMS (Holmdel, NJ) in Nov 2018
Interview
iCIMS called me about position that was not where I wanted to go next for my career, so I told them I would pass. A few weeks later they called me back and said a new position was being created that matched my skills and my current experience level. I was completely honest about my current situation and my compensation and I was convinced to start the interview process. As a reminder, this is a company in which their ENTIRE business model is based on software they make to facilitate the hiring process/talent acquisition. The process was a nightmare. I interviewed with 5 people that had little to no experience in interviewing someone. The position was created AFTER my first interview (read: the position was "created for you"). Each interview was based on simple questions with a sales pitch at the end of how great it is to work at iCIMS. After each interview I diligently responded to the talent manager with my feedback and then waited weeks for the next update, only to be asked how soon can I do my next interview after finally hearing back. The process ended up taking months. In the end I had turned down an offer from another company, which I would have accepted if iCIMS was not in the picture, only to have iCIMS call me days later and say they were going to go with another candidate. For a position that was essentially created for me and after interviewing with 5 people. I would highly recommend not wasting your time with this company.

Interview
Phone interview with recruiter followed by onsite interviews, three technical and one behavioral. All mostly inline with experiences I have had with other companies. Everyone was very friendly, professional and helpful. Gave me an good feeling about the environment right away and eased any reservations I had about the process.
