The following are a few social tasks based on ever-so-popular social tactics and trends.
The Platform Strategy
Describe a unique Instagram POV for an 80’s film that never had a social campaign.
The Post
Create Facebook and Twitter copy for a post announcing the release of an action film (choose one you like)
to Blu-rayTM and DVD.
The Reply
Write a response to this comment in a voice you would use for the Deadpool Facebook page.
The Tag
Create an engagement text-only tweet for a horror film that incentivizes people to tag their friends
without using the word "tag."
The Tweet
Describe the film The Revenant to female tweens in 140 characters or less.
The Story
Build an IG Story narrative, that has less than 4 taps, for an animated TV show that encourages fans to
swipe up to stream.
Trending Topics
Go to Twitter right now, look at the trending topics. Pick one, and pick your favorite movie, TV show, or
brand. Create a post for the property you chose incorporating the trending topic of your choice. Include
both post copy and a description of the accompanying asset.
The Hashtag Game
Create a hashtag game to promote an upcoming or recently released movie or TV show, or a new/recently
released product from a brand you love, and several sample entries.
● An example for Big with Tom Hanks might be #BadToys - Teenage Normal Turtles or Mr. Potato Leg
The Cross Promotion
Ideate on a cross-promotion asset (video, GIF, graphic, etc.) that brings two Netflix Original Series of your
choosing together within the same post. Please include a description of the asset and sample post copy.
The Brainstorm
Please write up one idea for a content theme (series of assets) for Titanic.
The Influencer
List five influencers that you would partner with to promote a movie or TV show that targets young
females. The show is a sci-fi mystery set in a high school. Tell us both who you would target, and what you
would want them to do/where it would live online.

different properties or brands per platform.
