I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at depict
Interview
1 - 30 minute talk with a recruiter (from another consultancy company)
2 - 30 minute talk with Head of Talent
3 - 30 minute JS tech Quiz (that had to be taken in under 48 hours)
4 - 45 minute Tech Round
5 - CTO interview
I didn't get an offer. And that would be ok if, after all these phases, I had received more feedback than just "your background wasn't quite the right fit".
I felt disappointed and disrespected because I invested my time and energy from free in this process just to be dismissed by something that was clearly visible in my resume.
In the future, please, don't make people go through all these steps and dismiss them with this kind of feedback. It sounds just plain lazy and disrespectful.
