      Commodity Risk Analyst Interview

      8 Feb 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Houston, TX
      Declined offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at bp (Houston, TX)

      Interview

Interview was like most with a group panel. People in the room took turns asking questions about your skill set, personality, history, improvements you've made, and ability to work with others. I was tested by one guy who asked me a trick question that didn't make sense...he was testing my knowledge.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Have you ever worked with a difficult person?

      13 Jun 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Chicago, IL
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at bp (Chicago, IL)

      Interview

All situation based for this role when you come from an outside organization. Be prepared for the interview to come off very cold. Ask questions to open it up- they want to see that you are engaged. Something to note is that you will need to take a drug test (a hair test) that is non-negotiable.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Describe to me a time when _________ happened, and how did you respond? What is a time that you had to make an unpopular decision, but you still felt like it was the right thing to do? What was that decision.
