When i got hired the process was different. I submitted an application at the suggestion of an employee who worked there. I was using the cosmetics before employment and she encouraged me to apply. After doing 2 interviews i was told to come back and do a type of audition. Basically it was me selling a product i had picked out of a brochure of the products. But currently you're expected to preform a Full Make under on a model, that you bring, to show your\ talent in artistry, conversation, and closing a sale.

There were no unexpected questions as i was applying for an internal promotion. Since i knew my District Manager for a year prior she was pretty straight forward.

Interview
Back in 2018. Pretty easy, it was a quick interview that requires you going into your work background. Took only a few days for the whole hiring process. Interview questions were as to be expected.
Easy and comfortable. A very friendly environment that makes you comfortable from the first interview. Usually two interviews in store. One with boutique and assistant managers and one with district manager.

Interview
Applied online, couple weeks later the store manager called and asked me to come in. We had an in person interview and I was offered a management position I hadn’t applied to and was offered the job week later!
