I applied online. I interviewed at airSlate (Wrocław) in Jun 2026
Interview
I applied for the middle full stack engineer role at airSlate and had an online screening interview on 03/06/2026. Unfortunately, my candidate experience was confusing and disappointing. After the interview, I received an update referring to a different role title: “Senior Software Engineer,” stating that the position had already been filled. This did not match the role I applied for or the role discussed during the interview. I believe my background and experience are relevant to the middle full stack engineer position. However, it felt like I was not given a real opportunity to be properly assessed for the role from the beginning. What also made the experience unclear is that I did not receive any meaningful feedback about my interview or my fit for the position. The only explanation provided was that the role had been filled shortly after the screening call. From a candidate perspective, this raises questions about whether the position was still actively open during the interview process. This was especially surprising from a company whose products are built around document accuracy, workflow clarity, and reliable digital processes. I fully understand that hiring processes can change and roles can be filled quickly. However, candidates invest time preparing, interviewing, and following the process, so communication should be accurate, consistent, and transparent. I would recommend improving the accuracy of role titles, ATS templates, and post-interview communication so candidates receive clear updates about the specific role they applied and interviewed for.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at airSlate in Apr 2026
Interview
A phone call with recruiter and 2 technical interviews. 1 technical QA with 2 fellow data engineers. The questions were revolving around python, SQL and data modeling concepts like slowing changing dimensions. 2 technical interview was System Design.
All the participants were really good and knowledgeable. I did not pass but i got a really constructive feedback at the end. Props for that
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at airSlate in Feb 2026
Interview
The recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn. I had two interviews, one with HR and one with the data manager and a technical data analyst.
The majority of the interview was led by the manager, who explained more details about the job and was focused more on business questions. Towards the end, I got asked more technical questions by the data analyst and I got to ask some questions as well.
I didn't pass this second phase, but was told two more phased could have followed, live coding, and a behavioural interview where using STAR format was encouraged.
Overall, it was a positive experience, with professional people and they seemed to offer a nice salary and benefits package.
