Process took more than a month The worst part was the communication around compensation and the role responsibilities that could have saved a lot of time for them and myself. The best part was the people that I talked to were really nice. I declined the offer because it was far below than what we had discussed and that was the reason I even spent this much time and effort pursuing this position, this change in initial commitment signals financial complications to me. Also, expectations of the role were changed on the fly when making an offer which were never discussed before throughout the process. First discussion/screening was with the recruiter and then technical round was scheduled. The technical round was standard JS focused and had some application design questions, anyone who has been working with component based libraries should have no problem answering those. Interviewer was very nice and loved talking to him. After the technical round there was a project given to be completed, it should take anywhere from 6 hours to 16 hours depending on how familiar you are with the tech stack. You may need to learn new technologies to be able to complete the project. Once they liked the project I was moved to the next round with VP Of Engineering, great person and had really good conversation. The final round was with the CEO, again great guy and amazing discussion. Once they decided to move, they verified my contacts from the previous companies and then had a follow up discussion again regarding compensation and mutual agreement was the same as the very first conversation but once I received an offer it was nothing like we had discussed and expectations of the role were also changed from Engineering to Engineering & Leadership role which ended up wasting a lot of my time.
