I applied for the position in February of 2025 through an internal referral. The interviews spanned March and April of 2025.
The interview process involved these steps:
- Initial phone screening with a recruiter
- One business case interview with a DAA at ZS
- Three interviews on the same day:
- Behavioral interview with an office manager
- Structured business case interview with a DAA at ZS
- Unstructured business case interview, also with an associate at ZS

Question 1
Behavioral: standard questions, as well as some probing on resume-listed experiences. One particular question asked me about my experiences handling uncooperative customers.
Structured business cases: the associate showed me visualizations and charts related to a fictional ZS client and asked me to give my analysis and proposals on the data.
Unstructured business case: the associate described verbally to me a fictional ZS client and asked me to give my thoughts on what this client should do to expand sales and breach into new markets.
the interviewer was chill and it went very well. he went through my resume and asked me questions from my resume. also asked some random case studies and checked my critical thinking
2 Rounds of Interviews. First was the Technical round with Basic programming questions and Questions based on my Resume. Technical concepts like python programming, basics of MySQL and Database, Computer Basics were covered.
Then was the HR Round which included Guesstimates, Questions about myself and thoughts on AI

Pretty straightforward process. There were mainly two interviews, back to back, one of which was largely behavioral, the other was somewhat technical but more so to see how your brain works rather than a test of what you know. They just have a person show you some data, ask you questions about it, what would you recommend this company do if they want to accomplish this goal given this data, etc.
