3 step interview process: screening, call with engineer, virtual on-site interview
Part 1: call with hiring manager to talk about my background
Part 2: call with engineer who asked a variety of technical questions based on my resume / background
Part 3: 3-3.5 hour interview with various people at the company.
- Interview w/ technical director - questions about background
- Interview w/ technical manager - questions about technical background & some situational/behavioral
- Interview w/ 2 engineers on the team - specific technical questions about my resume
- Interview w/ a principal engineer - the most in-depth technical part - specifics about technologies I was familiar with as well as patterns/"best practices"
- Interview w/ PM and BA - some technical questions about my past projects & questions about how my experience relates to their apps
- Interview w/ HR - situational & behavioral questions
There wasn't any coding, but a lot of verbal technical questions and situational questions. Overall, I felt it was a fair process with a lot of transparency.
