I applied online via ZF career website and I received a call from Recruiter a couple of days later. After few basic questions about my resume verifying the basic qualifications for the position, a phone interview with hiring manager was setup. The interview went quite well except it was very hard for me to understand the interviewers and one other guys accent may be due to phone conversation. I somehow managed to answer all the questions asked. They were mostly behavioral, tell me about a time when you have lead a project; convinced a group of people or management; and other questions about the resume, not very technical though. After few days I received feedback from recruiter that I am not selected for this position but hiring manager finds me more suitable for a position in other department and I was told hiring manager has recommended for that position. After couple of weeks, I again got a call from same recruiter asking for an on-site interview for the subject position. I went to the interview hiring manager was very courteous and made sure I am comfortable before the interview was started. The beginnning wasn't be very desirable as he asked me "where in this whole room you can find Poke-Yoke" as this term was mentioned in my resume. It took me while to really understand the question, as I thought he wanted me to identify any Poka-yoke he has implemented in his office. Finally I understood he meant universal poke-yokes such as power plug etc. He then took my resume underlined few terms mentioned in my resume asked me to explain them in working context and not textbook knowledge. I was able to answer pretty much all questions I was asked. These technical questions were followed by some HR type questions about long term and shot term goals; strength and weekness. Finally I was told the interview was very satisfying which was a good sign.
