Contacted by internal Yardi recruiter that I met at a UCSB job fair. I had to fill out a bunch of paper work and bring the application to the interview. I interviewed for a few hours with about 6 different people. Received a call back a few days later with an offer.

Question 1
Asked to compare C++ with Java. Also asked questions about different protocols (FTP, HTTP, UDP, TCP, etc.) Another interviewer asked the names of some college professors.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Yardi Systems (Pune)

Interview process was good.
It starts with a general aptitude test followed by SQL Server Written test wherein queries are needed to be answered.
Further, technical interview and then HR interview
One day event and at the end of the day you would come to know if you are being selected/rejected

Interview
they ask SQL, mostly the basics. They ask about the SDLC. You can give your ideas also. Be creative. In development, they ask ASP.NET. Try coming up prepared. The process will depend whether you are fresher or experienced.
For fresher, if you have hands on experience on .NET framework, it will a bonus.
They have SQL server backend platform. So preparing for it will be an added advantage.

it is one long process starts with:
1. Aptitude test
2. Pre-HR interview
3. Face to face technical interview (Only SQL questions)
4. Face to face technical interview (General Programming questions.)
5. HR interview.
After completing these rounds HR ask you to leave and let you know later by phone call.
