I applied on LinkedIn.
First interview was a screening call with a recruiter which went well. The call lasted less than 10 minutes. Then I received a design task by mail and was given 3 days to solve it.
Unfortunately the task was extremely difficult and way above the paygrade of a mid-level designer. I could've maybe solved it if I was given more time, say a week. But with so many requirements, the allotted time simply wasn't sufficient.
I honestly got the impression that they were searching for a senior designer willing to work on a mid-level's salary. I'm not even surprised the LinkedIn job add got reposted.
Overall, the recruiter was nice and civil, but they should definitely advertise that they're searching for someone much more senior.
