WorkGenius interview questions

The people I spoke to were nice and responded quickly, but a design assignment is given at a very early stage in the recruitment process (after the first interview), which means that many candidates will work hard for nothing. I put days of work and much effort into this (quite confusing) assignment, which was followed by a very demanding 'hiring manager' interview, after which I only received a few generic rejection words. One would think that after such a demanding process one would deserve at least some words of feedback, not just "sometimes it's the smallest details that make the difference". After replying, thanking the interviewers and asking for feedback, I never received a response. I ended up with a negative impression.

It's very unfortunate 1) I sensed this is a modern staffing agency (even though they deny it). I applied to one of their positions and asked them if this was to work with them and not one of their clients. They said yes, but when I talked to another person he said I was more than welcome to use their software to look for employment to "test it out." I sensed that they deceived me by having me come to their office to convince me to use their platform, instead of working directly for them. Even if the position was to work directly for them, their hiring process is also way too slow. People have bills to pay
