They knew my salary range and said it's within their range but when it's time for offer recruiter said it's within their range and max they can offer is below my current salary.

First, a 2 hour online tests. You solve some algorithm problems and answer some questions. Nothing too hard.
A call with manager where you explain your technical expertise and another call with some engineers to deep dive your past and to do some code reviewers.
