      Product Manager Interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Wolt (Copenhagen, Capital Region) in Oct 2019

      Interview

After keeping in conversation for 3 weeks about Product Manager position, I was rejected by phone one before making deal. First 2 weeks passed with HR and department manager meetings. After many positive feedbacks of them , last assignment process is based on their real data and preparing technical file + time table for production all seasons. And I think it was unethical but problem was not this during all interview. My 1st confusion; why I had to share all my excel working files after sending assessments in PDF presentation if they will reject me? My 2nd confusion: A day before making agreement (settled meeting as FINAL CHAT), they said already deal with another WOLT person who has more experience than me. So why they have waited till last day to inform me? Unfortunately all these process made me feel a bit "used".

Hi there! First of all, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on your recent interview process. We are sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with us. We aim to create a very transparent recruitment process and would never want our candidates to feel used or confused. In saying that, we apologise if the purpose of the assessment was miscommunicated in any way. As part of our culture, we are very hands-on and strategic in our approach and therefore, we aim to reflect this within our hiring process as well. As each assessment task differs according to the role, we usually ask to see excel files (for more analytical roles) to understand the workings and thought-process behind the end result. In regards to the scheduled meeting, we are very sorry that this happened. We aim to give the best candidate experience and want our candidates to feel valued throughout each stage. However based on your feedback, it seems we could have done a better job in giving you the Wolt experience. Once again, we sincerely apologise for your experience and would like to thank you for sharing your feedback. This certainly helps us to be better :) If you’d like to discuss more, please feel free to reach out to our Recruitment team who would be more than happy to listen.

      Interview

the hiring process for that Project Manager gig has three steps. First, you chat with HR for like 30 minutes—they ask about your experience, leadership style, and how you fit with the team. It’s pretty chill but in-depth. Then, they send you a business case to tackle, like planning a project with timelines and risks. You get a couple of days to nail it. Finally, you have a big interview with the higher-ups, diving into your skills and the case you submitted. If it goes well, they talk offer details right there. Takes about 2-3 weeks, and they keep you posted. Solid process, honestly!

Quote nice process and colleaques. However, after it turned so that I was not the priority 1 candidate, the behaviour towards me changed quite a bit, which left a mediocre image of wolt.

      Interview

I have applied and was prepared for a particular job post, but during the interview the interviewer changed it to another role. I wasn't ready at all and I told him that I have only considered the one that I applied for, but it didn't work. It was only a waste of time. I was surprise and couldn't answer his questions.
