I interviewed at Wolt (Helsinki, Southern Finland)
Interview
Applied through Wolt’s Associate Product Manager rotational program, which is a 30-month program. After applying, I cleared the initial HR round and then had a 1:1 interview with a Product Lead.
The HR round was fairly straightforward and focused on basic behavioral questions, such as how I work in teams, challenges I have faced, and my general background and motivation for the role.
The Product Lead interview also started with basic questions to get to know me better, including my working style, team experience, and how I approach challenges. After that, there was a small case study.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The mini case study was about a product I would launch within one month. They wanted me to break down my thought process around execution, including how I would prioritize, define success, align stakeholders, plan the rollout, and handle potential risks. It was more focused on structured thinking and communication than deep technical product knowledge.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wolt (Helsinki, Southern Finland)
Interview
I went till the second phase. The recruiter was nice and helpful. In the end I was not experienced enough for the position. But overall it was a good experience.

Question 1
They ask questions from your experience. I would suggest to use practical examples to explain what you have worked on.

Interview
My best experience to date interviewing and accepting an offer with an employer.
Throughout the process, they are incredibly respectful, open to answering any and every question you have, and genuinely treat it as a two way street. Questions are designed to understand you and your thought process better rather than to set you up to fail. Their structure is very similar to Meta style interviews with a lot more behavioural questions peppered throughout the interviews. They also send a lot of prep material to you so know what to expect in interviews. They were quick - both at scheduling and at getting back with feedback, and although the process was long and thorough, it was very efficient.
Finally, their offers are strong and reflective of your experience and value, there is no question of lowballing based on gender, race, power dynamic in a bad job market, visa sponsorship etc even if they don’t have a lot of title granularity (most PMs fall into Product Lead which is an entry level title, regardless of experience) and they take the time to review the offer with you to ensure your questions are all addressed. In the tech world where it is so common for even FAANG companies to down level, Wolt acts with the highest integrity and truly respects the people they interview. One of Wolt’s cultural values is Heart, and it’s clear that they know how to treat their people right and reflect their cultural values in the hiring process. I had the most positive experience and accepted the offer.
