I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wix (Denver, CO) in Jun 2020
Interview
To begin, you start out by building your own website. I enjoyed playing around with the Wix product to create my own page, but it did take several hours to complete. The second guy I interviewed with was awesome! He was personable, smart, and easy to speak with, he made me intrigued, and excited about the role. However, I was very surprised at how terrible my final interview experience was with Wix. I personally have never had such a poor interview experience that was so disorganized, and uninspiring . A final interview should make you feel excited, and eager to work for the company, not make you question if the entire interview process was a mistake. The two individuals that I interviewed with were in offices on opposite ends of the country from each other. To be honest, you wouldn’t even know they work for the same company because they were on such different pages. The entire interview they both seemed bored, and like they weren’t paying attention to what was going on. I wasted a good amount of time answering the same questions twice because they weren’t’t listening to one another. After the interview finished, I honestly thought that I would be pretty disappointed to get hired and have to work under leadership like that. In my opinion, they have no idea how run a good interview, and clearly from the average interview ratings you see on here, they should consider revamping their interview team with people who are actually cut out to create a positive interview experience for their candidates. Overall, I would say that this bad interview experience made me appreciate the past companies that I’ve interviewed with that have their stuff together. This was a learning experience for sure, and I genuinely feel like if I had been hired, I would’ve been quickly been looking for work elsewhere. Not the awesome company I thought they were.
Hi there. First, thanks for taking the time to review so candidly. Your feedback is valuable and we'll definitely use it to learn where we can get better. It's our top priority to give candidates a good interview experience and it seems we missed the mark here. We're sorry we don't have an opportunity to change this impression. Good luck and take care.
