The process involved three stages. The first screening call went very well, and the second one with the design team also went well. However, the third interview with the marketing team was terrible. Both interviewers had an arrogant attitude, and the woman conducting the interview gave off a bad vibe right from the start. She fired off questions rapidly, like a Kalashnikov, without giving enough time to answer, and twisted my responses. I felt extremely uncomfortable throughout.
The final straw was when the recruiter misled me about the outcome. He sent an email asking if he could call me, which made me think I had gotten the job. When he called, he sounded excited, asked me how the interview went, and after 10 minutes of conversation, gave me feedback: "Yes, they enjoyed speaking with you, but unfortunately, you didn't get the position." If it's bad news, just send an email and don't lead people on like that.
