I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Wise
Interview
There were about 5 stages to the process. Call with the recruiter, call with a product designer, call with the design lead and a presentation for a take-home exercise (we've since then stopped doing that I believe, since it's not necessarily the greatest practice but I did enjoy it). The last stage was having a meeting with my potential team's PM and Engineering lead - I had the luck of knowing some of my potential (product) team mates from before and I liked the fact that the familiarity didn't carry over to the interview process itself.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Wise (London, England) in Feb 2026
Interview
Applied online, two stages in, then ghosted.
I've seen the same job being reposted 2-3 times in the past 6 months. I'm wondering if the role is real or it's just a strategy to make the company look active.
There were multiple stages: interview with recruiter, head of design followed by a portfolio review. Everyone was friendly and the team were lovely. I thought they asked thoughtful questions during the portfolio review and were quick in their feedback.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wise (London, England) in May 2024
Interview
I was suggested by the talent partner to prepare a 5-10-minute high-level walk-through of one of my portfolios. However, during the interview, I was asked to share the working Figma file which I wasn't prepared for. Then I got turned down as I wasn't able to show the iteration that they wished to see, which to me was pretty unfair.
