I applied online. I interviewed at WireWheel in Mar 2021
Interview
The interview process was straightforward. Had 3 interview sessions, met with key decision makers. The interview sessions involved sharing details about the position, expectations from the candidate as well as the details about my background.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about yourself? Why wire wheel should hire you?
The interview process was straight forward and the recruiter was helpful. Seems like a good organization to work for. There was an initial interview and then an interview with the hiring manager. The process took less than 2 weeks.
I applied online. I interviewed at WireWheel (Arlington, VA) in Jan 2020
Interview
The process began with an initial phone screening interview with an HR representative. The interview was no more than 20 minutes and pleasant. The representative gave a brief overall description of the new start-up company (opened in 2017), and what their needs were in regards to this role. I was advise that this was a 4 process interview. The second and last interview was with the hiring manager. She was 7-10 minutes late for a Zoom interview. I had to send an email to the HR representative after waiting 7-10 minutes with no meeting instructions, or even a call or email regarding the tardiness. After emailing the HR representative, I then received a email instructions to login to the Zoom meeting (which could have just been a phone call at this point). Once on the call, the hiring had no explanation or even care the she was late. She asked basic questions. It appears that they are still infant stages of building this role. Honestly after being basically 10 minutes late for the interview with no apology, reason, etc. It was pretty much a no go for me. Absolutely no concern of others time. An she seemed annoyed during the interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
One of the questions was: Have you ever done any web- based delivery? I appeared that the hiring manager did not even look at my resume. Which this basic information was displayed within each job/role.
All in all, I recommend to the interviewers, to read individuals resumes prior to interviewing them to know the adequate questions to ask. All of her BASIC questions could have been answered by just reading my resume... The lack of interest started before I even began this interview. I recommend don't even waist your time applying, because this new start up company will waist yours. By the way the next morning I received an email stating they are not going to proceed. Weeeew, I dodge a bullet. Thanks
