I applied online and conducted a phone screening with an HR representative which I thought went well and then was scheduled to meet with the hiring manager virtually. The interview was a good experience, the hiring manager mainly spoke and asked a few very pointed questions that did not get at operational actions I could provide as an employee but were based in my perspectives and drive. I was invited to a final round interview with three team members onsite and attended, The hiring manager spoke a lot during the interview and again the questions were more nebulous so I couldn't tell if they were trick questions, If they were, they definitely got me, because I felt I was answering more about my background as a human and why I was interested in the job than how I could fit in with . I was told at the end of the interview they would be making a decision by the end of the following week. I never heard from them again, so I did not get selected. I was hoping for at least a courtesy email saying they selected another candidate, but it never arrived. I could have reached back out as well to request feedback, but I also did not do that.
