      Implementation Engineer Interview

      15 Jan 2019
      Anonymous employee
      Bengaluru
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Whatfix (Bengaluru) in Jan 2019

      Interview

The interview process was very detailed and thorough. It reflects how much effort they put to determine fit with the role, team and the company. I had seven rounds of interview including HR and CEO. Started with me applying for the job from Linkedin, I got a reply from Whatfix, where team asked few questions about my past experiences and learning. Then, there was a phone screening round, where the talent acquisitions specialist wanted to know about current job role and how i think i'm fit for Whatfix. This interview last for over an hour, where interviewer listened to my present work experiences, asked questions related to it, asked many scenario based questions. Towards the end of call, to test my technical knowledge and passion towards this role, the interviewer asked me to work on assignment related to HTML, CSS and Javascript and prepare demo presentation showing the on boarding of user on any application. Next a Skype meeting was scheduled after a week, where interviewer asked few questions related to assignment and had discussion about my expectations from job and role. Finally a F2F technical round was scheduled within few days, where interviewer evaluated my technical and aptitude skills. I was given 2 problems related to pseudo code and few aptitude and LR questions. Post this discussion, I was interviewed by two more people, asking me all kinds of questions related to my present work, how it could have been improved and my contribution. Then, I had a discussion with CEO which was really a very good experience. Instead of asking any questions, CEO himself explained me the culture, job and role at Whatfix. He asked me about my expectations from Whatfix. Post this discussion, I had final round of discussion with HR and few other members, where they had given me the offer and discuss about my career path in Whatfix. I have accepted the offer. I would like to highlight that every round of interview was learning experience. I could not felt that the interviewer were not there only to evaluate me but also to help me broaden my horizon and skills and look at things from more broader perspective rather than a haphazard shot in dark.
