I spoke to a couple of different people in a meeting room at a hotel. There were several tables around the room and you were asked to move from table to table to speak with different individuals that turned out to be area managers, which is the step above being a general store manager.

It was straightforward for me but I was someone who started as a regular employee and was considered after excelling in the workplace throughout various positions. Not sure what it would look like for outside hires.
