Don’t waste your time. Invited to interview, and it was quite a strange interview in which the interviewer spent most of the time talking about himself. I was asked a few basic questions about my research skills and ability to manage a large workload, but I was sceptical of any actual ‘research’ being involved in this role, despite the job title. The interviewer didn’t give me a straight answer about how much of the role is research based. To me, this seemed like more of a low paid tele-sales role to sell the company’s conferences.
The job description also says ‘competitive salary’ - I asked about this and was told the salary for a graduate is around £20,000 with NO expenses for monthly travel to London. The interviewer also asked which other roles and companies I was applying for, which seemed a bit intrusive.
Wasn’t offered a job, but would not want to work there anyway after this interview. Do not be mislead by the job title and there’s countless negative reviews dating back years which I suggest you read before applying to this company.
