I was interviewed in four stages: First by phone, by the HR recruiter; second by the person who would be my direct supervisor; third by my future everyday work teammate; and finally by several upper-level managers for whom I would provide technical support. The process was straightforward, and unlike the majority of other companies where I have applied or been interviewed, Western Pest Services did what it said it would do. They returned calls, they were courteous and professional, and I knew very soon after beginning the process that it was my first choice for employment. Other individuals hired around the same time I was, for different positions in the company, told me the same. Honesty, respect and treating people with dignity is a core value here. I am very specially trained in a highly technical field, and the position requires exceptional interpersonal skills so Western Pest Services was being very selective, and I do not feel that my interview process was easy. Its difficulty was manifest in ways that might not occur with people applying for other positions. But the values will be there regardless.
