I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Western Governors University (Austin, TX) in Aug 2019
Interview
1. Initial interview with recruiter. General questions about experience and why you want to work at WGU. 2. Interview with hiring manager and 1 or 2 team members. Asked open ended content specific questions about experience and then asked to teach something to get an idea of your teaching style and fit on the team.

Teach us about something biology related that interests you.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Western Governors University (Homestead, FL) in Jul 2023
Interview
I had three interviews - HR screener, group interview and final interview. The whole
Process took two months with negotiations and the interviews. It wasn’t very organized and it seemed like I had to wait too long in between interviews.
A very negative process. Got an email from a recruiter to schedule an initial phone interview then before even getting a chance to have that interview, I received an automated rejection email in 2 days. Reached out to the recruiter about it and she was very unresponsive until she finally replied and said the position has been filled. Not sure what kind of practice you guys are employing during your hiring process to reach out to someone to schedule an interview and send an automated rejection email in 2 days without even doing the interview. I probably won't pursue any opportunities with your organization in the future. Please be mindful of applicants' time.

Question 1
Give a call to further discuss this opportunity with you
The initial interview with HR was so fantastic that I tried to convince myself that faculty are more than a call center. After that the whole thing was just awkward. Manager at second interview was pompous and impersonal. Other instructor didn’t speak to me unless I spoke to her. Bullet dodged.
